David & Diane Rose grew up in Palmer and have raised their two daughters there. An energetic Jack Russell Terrier is the latest addition to the family.
Diane has worked in the tourism industry since 1986, and has extensive knowledge of the Matanuska Valley history and attractions. David, a longtime
carpenter, built Rose Ridge himself with guest
convenience in mind.

Guests have their choice of a complimentary continental
or full breakfast. Our menus promote homegrown and
Alaskan items to include raspberry, blueberry, or
strawberry jam made fresh by Diane from local berries.
The reindeer sausage is very popular.
The continental breakfast
offers a variety of items that include fresh fruit, muffins,
cinnamon rolls, coffee cake, hot and cold cereal, and
beverages.
Our full breakfast is a hearty home cooked
meal. A sample full breakfast would be Reindeer sausage, Blueberry
pancakes with birch syrup or Alaskan wildflower honey, scrambled eggs,
cantaloupe and honeydew melon, coffee and fruit juice.
Breakfast is served in the dining room from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. The full breakfast is prepared from a
varied menu in the dining room at 8 a.m. We will do our best to accommodate
those with special dietary needs.
